Files and tool inputs
Many Costovia tools process files and inputs locally in your browser. Some PDF and QR features may load helper JavaScript from public content-delivery networks. A tool page should clearly indicate when processing differs from this model.
Accounts
If account access is enabled, Costovia stores the email address you register, a one-way password hash, account status, role, and account creation time. Passwords are not stored in plain text.
Usage and security data
The site can store tool-use events, pageview events, account identifiers when signed in, and a one-way keyed hash derived from network/browser information for guest limits, basic unique-visitor counts, and abuse prevention. Raw passwords are never logged by the application.
Advertising
If the site owner enables an approved advertising provider such as Google AdSense, that provider may use cookies or similar technologies under its own policies. The owner should configure any consent mechanism required for the countries served.
Retention and choices
Retention periods, contact details, applicable legal rights, and any additional analytics or advertising providers should be updated by the site owner before production launch so this policy accurately reflects the live configuration.
Country-level analytics
To understand traffic quality and improve the service, Costovia may record page views, tool-use events, a one-way hashed visitor identifier, and coarse country code. Obvious automated bots are filtered from the “real visitor” dashboard. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the Costovia analytics database. When the hosting/CDN does not provide a country code, an optional IP-to-country service may be used only to obtain coarse country information.
